Field Technician – Surveyor’s Assistant

Longhorn Geomatics Limited is a Geomatics and Land Surveying Corporation located in Calgary, Alberta, and is currently applications for Field Technicians – Survey Assistants.

Requirements
As a successful candidate you:

• have completed a minimum of a technical diploma program in Geomatics.

Responsibilities
As a member of Longhorn’s team you will:

• work as a member of Longhorn’s field staff and assist a senior field crew chief to complete oilfield related surveys such as well location surface lease and pipeline right of way surveys
• be available to mobilize anywhere within Alberta for periods of several days
• learn Longhorn’s field systems and processes with the expectation that you will, after a reasonable training period, supervise a field survey crew
